HOURS OF OPERATION
Laura's Flower Shoppe and TASM Bloom Special Events is open for business Monday-Friday, from 9:00am-5:00pm, and on Saturdays, from 9:00am-2:00pm. We are closed for business, and unable to make deliveries, on Sundays and major holidays, with the exception of pre-arranged funerals and special events. Major holidays include New Year's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
At Laura's Flower Shoppe, we are committed to designing, creating, and delivering only the freshest, highest-quality, and most unique floral arrangements, houseplants, gift baskets, and non-floral products to our customers throughout greater Lake County and surrounding communities. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, yet recognize that sometimes things go wrong. We are only human after all.
Therefore, our guarantee is that in the event you are not 100% satisfied with our products, service offerings, delivery service, or purchasing experience we will do everything we can to make you a happy customer again. Simply call or email us, immediately upon dissatisfaction, and we will work with you to come up with a mutually beneficial solution. This may include, but is not limited to, discretionary refunds, re-deliveries of arrangements, or discounts on future purchases; all subject to investigation.
Please be advised that any changes or cancellations to an order may only be made 24 hours or more prior to 12pm CST on delivery day, or by 2pm CST on Saturdays for Monday deliveries. Changes to floral arrangements or delivery locations may be subject to additional charges, depending on the request and/or delivery area. Occasionally, we may have to make substitutions of flowers or containers due to weather, seasonality, market conditions, and/or inventory, which may affect availability. Therefore, although the actual arrangement may not precisely match the photo shown on our site, we guarantee that its temperament will. If substitution of flowers and/or containers is required we will ensure that the style, theme, and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved, and will only substitute items of equal or higher value. Additionally, you may request customization of any floral arrangement as long as it is 24 hours or more prior to delivery - ideally at the time the order is placed and purchased. Should you make a custom request, via an online order, that we are either not able to accommodate or will require an additional charge we will contact you immediately to discuss an alternative solution.
Every order you place with us will be charged a 8% sales tax, applied to the total amount of your order. This tax rate is based upon the rate our shop is charged, regardless of the destination of your order.
We accept the following payment methods for all orders, both online and in-store: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Additionally, we also accept cash for in-store purchases.
Please note: Payment is required at time of purchase for orders placed over the phone and in-store - whether it be for a delivery, pick-up, or take out. Exceptions apply only for those approved customers with house accounts.
MINIMUM PURCHASE ORDERS
For products purchased in-store, or for pick-up, there is no minimum purchase amount required. For products purchased and scheduled for delivery, the minimum purchase amount is $40.00, with the exception of the few products that are listed as "under 40 dollars" on our website.
We guarantee to provide prompt, efficient delivery of your order, and direct communication with you, the purchaser, in the event of an unforeseen delay. If the recipient is not able to receive the delivery, or if there is an issue locating the delivery address provided, we will make every effort to contact both you and the recipient (unless instructed otherwise) to make other delivery arrangements. Occasionally, we may make deliveries to occupants of neighboring houses or buildings, on behalf of the recipient, in which case we would also ask for your and/or the recipient's permission to do so. We are a family-owned and -operated business with the highest degree of integrity. Your personal information and purchase history is safe with us!
We receive and store any information you enter at the site, or give to us in any other way. For example, when you order from the site, we collect the following information: your name, telephone number, email address, billing information (credit card number, expiration date, and billing address), products purchased, and the recipient´s name, address, and telephone number. The recipient may only be contacted via telephone to arrange delivery.
For reasons such as improving personalization of our service and products, we may collect information about you from other sources and add it to your account information.
Information Usage: We do not sell, trade, rent, or share personally identifiable information that visitors submit to our site. We may utilize your personally identifiable information to send you information or materials we think you will find interesting. However, at the time of collection, you will typically have the option of instructing us not to send you additional information.
We may use reputable third parties to manage activities available on our site, including web hosting, database management, and order processing and authentication. These parties may have access to personally identifiable information submitted by visitors who participate in those activities. These third parties will not use or share personally identifiable information, except only for the specific purpose for which it is collected.
Furthermore, we are concerned about the safety of children when they use the internet. Pursuant to the Children´s Online Protection Act of 1998, Laura's Flower Shoppe will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.
Security: We maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of personally identifiable information submitted to our site, and periodically review and update its security measures in light of current technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. Although we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warranty the security of any information you may transmit to us or from our online products and services. Once we do receive your transmission, however, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. When credit card information is transmitted, industry standard encryption is used.
